On 17th December, I, along with my classmates went out for a treat at Palimar, a local veggie restaurant as it was one of my closest friend’s birthday. The gift for her meant to be a surprise her but sadly, one of my classmates forgot to bring the gift! When we told her that, she chided us for forgetting her gift. Poor girl! She had been waiting since morning for that one surprise. Forgetting the surprise gift turned out to be a bigger surprise; not only to her, but to all of us.
The party was actually at 6.30 pm, but we reached there only by 7.00 pm as there was a heavy downpour which wasn’t ready to allow to enjoy. But somehow we reached the venue.
At Palimar, we were a gang of almost 15 people. The moment we entered Palimar, all eyes were on us. There were about 2-3 families in there, who gave us a bad stare. We were all set to disturb their peaceful time! As we entered, a lot of noise and laughter travelled in with us and we could see the delighted managers looking at us. They were sure to have a good business! After few minutes, few men came and arranged a long table for us – by joining the smaller ones. We were made to feel very comfortable. We all ordered whatever was available n ate happily. But sadly, it was not enough for everyone! We ate everything in bits n pieces and weren’t full.
It was 8.30pm, and I had to come back home, so I bid goodbye to my friends and returned home. The next day, I learnt that after Palimar, few of my friends went to another eat out nearby. My friend promised me for another treat as I missed the second one. Let me hope for the best!
